The Vice President of Sales is responsible for driving sales development strategies, tactics and action plans across all business verticals. You will have a direct impact to the growth of the organization, and the strategies, processes and systems that support it.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work to define, set, and execute our sales strategy. This includes communicating internally and externally, each week, month and quarter as part of regular sales meetings, and executive meetings.

  • Manage a team of sales leaders based in the USA. Work with each sales leader to enable them to develop and over-perform against sales revenue targets.

  • Work closely with your counterparts in services and support to drive customer success and identify opportunities to drive upsell and cross-sell to our client base.

  • Work closely with our marketing team to align on strategies that includes lead generation campaigns, events, partner engagements, and content strategies.

  • Help guide company sales materials, including those for internal, client and partner presentations.

  • Maintains accountability for client satisfaction and revenue targets.

  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Managed a sales team comprising of sales managers, account executives, administrative staff and a reseller channel.  

  • Managed external relationships with strategic partners including contract preparation and negotiations.

  • Proven ability to build executive level internal and external relationships.

  • Proven sales track record in a new product/new market environment.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in a VP role or other senior business leadership role.

  • Experience building a scalable sales team.

  • Experience building training programs, scorecards and accountability frameworks.

  • Highly driven and self-motivated.

  • Willingness and availability to travel extensively.

  • Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and articulate business strategy.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • Applicant must be willing to reside in Sacramento region.
